Park walks & Museum visits
At Hand in Hand, we organize activities like walking around Miramar Lake and visiting local museums. These outings are designed to provide students with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature and engage in enriching experiences outside their regular environment.
The Miramar Lake walks allow participants to connect with the serene natural surroundings, breathe fresh air, and enjoy light physical activity in a calm, supportive atmosphere. Museum visits, on the other hand, offer them a chance to explore new places, learn about art, history, and science, and spark their curiosity in unique and interactive ways. These experiences are not only fun and engaging but also help broaden their perspectives, enhance their social interactions, and create lasting memories. By combining the tranquility of nature with the excitement of discovering new environments, we aim to support their mental and physical well-being while fostering a sense of wonder and exploration.
