We are thrilled to announce a new Samulnori class focusing on Sogo (a small hand drum) starting in Spring 2025! This class will be led by our new instructor, Ms. Young-Ok Kim, who brings extensive experience in traditional Korean music. With her guidance, participants will explore the unique rhythms and movements of Sogo-based Samulnori, a dynamic and joyful form of performance. The class is open to individuals with disabilities, providing an inclusive and supportive environment for all skill levels. Ms. Kim will offer step-by-step instructions, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably. No prior experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm! This program is a great opportunity to deepen your understanding of Korean culture and connect with others through music.
